The Court of Protection is there to protect the welfare of people who no longer have the mental capacity to manage their affairs themselves. The Court of Protection will make decisions relating to the health and welfare of the person, always acting in their best interests.

A deputyship order, once issued by The Court of Protection, allows you to take over a person's affairs and make decisions about their health, welfare and financial situation. David Bunn and Co can help you with gaining a deputyship order as well as advising you on the process from step one.

What is a deputyship order?

The Court of Protection may also act on behalf of a person in matters of health or property. Furthermore, The Court of Protection will get involved if there are issues over an existing lasting power of attorney. Do not hesitate to give us a call if you need assistance with this or similar issues.
